Moira Weigel gave this article (and the entire PC bogeyman) far more attention than they deserve, but it’s important to trace the origins of these ideas so I’m grateful for the work she put in. I see absolutely no shame in referring to a well-written, thoroughly researched article from a mainstream publication.

If you think these are mere “opinions” that were somehow granted long-read status in the Guardian, perhaps you can take it up with her. I’m pretty bored of having ten new notifications from you every time I get online, to be honest.
